As Rocket continue to release patches, releases and new versions of U2 products you will notice a gradual change to Rocket branding. One of the first things they will change is the software license agreement, to replace the IBM name with Rocket or Rocket Software where appropriate. (They don’t anticipate any other big changes to the license agreements in the near future.)
Visible copyright notices will also change quickly, as will splash screens, help about screens, installation screens and CD labels.
Later, installation directory names and registry entries will be changed. These will be carefully tested by Rocket's QA department to make sure they have a minimal effect on your business. They also plan to work on namespace changes and to communicate with you extensively throughout the change so you know what to expect and how changes will affect you.
For questions about these changes, please contact U2AskUs@rs.com.

"Obviously, the last month has been a period of great change for the U2 product family, and I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to Rocket Software's family of more than 10,000 customers around the world. If you don't know much about us, you should know that for the last 20 years we've been focused on building and supporting enterprise infrastructure software that is sold directly and through partners. Over the past decade Rocket has acquired 27 companies, product lines, intellectual property, and other enterprise infrastructure assets, and today Rocket is a global software development firm with more than 700 employees around the world.
So what does this mean for U2 customers?
The short answer is that not much will change: U2's great worldwide team is staying with Rocket, we will continue to support existing products, and we are fully committed to future versions and enhancements. What will change is that Rocket is looking for new ways to integrate U2 with our other products and finding ways to help all of our customers remain competitive and grow their businesses with Rocket software.
I look forward to working with you, and to helping you learn more about how you can work with Rocket."
Sincerely,
A Youniss
